Master's Thesis Designs

To complete a master's degree, Sara created a design line combining handmade crochet lace with African inspired textiles.  The design research involved history of these rich textiles, textile design and digital printing, textile symbology, and cultural appropriation of indigenous Ghanaian textile motifs.  The design line was on display in the Gustafson Gallery on the CSU campus from September through December, 2015.
