Krochet Kids international

From January to June in 2012 Sara lived by the beach and served as the design intern for Krochet Kids international, a non-profit company that empowers women to rise above poverty.  Krochet Kids employs women in Uganda and Peru to make their products, pays a steady living wage, provides business classes and mentorship opportunities to improve impoverished communities.  Sara contributed many knit and crochet designs to the Krochet Kids product line many of which are pictured here.
